Currently Craving: Carry-All Totes

I'm a huge fan of carrying a bag that hold everything and anything I might need. And I really mean anything. My current cross-body bag not only holds my wallet, keys, phone, etc, but also has to bear the burden of a book or two, knuts, random coasters from bars, 10 chap sticks, and an assortment of other odds and ends. The poor thing is about to burst at the seams! Which is why I've been in the market for a sturdy tote; one that would be able to handle my tendency to carry the world on my shoulder and look good doing so.
Check out the ones I've been eying below, and let me know, would you recommend any others?

I think the Madewell tote is still winning this round for me, what do you guys think?

Currently Craving: Jewlery by Bario Neal

One of my favorite blogs A Cup of  Jo is hosting a fabulous giveaway today featuring the Philadelphia based jewelery studio Bario Neal. This was my first introduction to their work, and I am already smitten with every piece, my favorite being the Notch Necklace (below).

Photos from Bario Neal's website

Their delicate, yet intricate and refined, pieces are enough to have me swooning, but what makes me really love this shop is their commitment to creating these beautiful pieces ethically. Per their site, each piece is handmade using "reclaimed precious metals, ethically sourced stones, and low-impact, environmentally conscious practices," which means that you never have to choose between what looks good and what feels right.

Check out their site and let me know if anything catches your eye! And be sure to enter the giveaway on A Cup of Jo, so that you can bring one home :)

Currently Craving: A new pair of sunnies

Now that the sun is finally peeking its head out from behind the clouds, my sunglasses have been seeing a lot more action lately. This has led me to realize, however, that my sunglasses are actually not that great, ha! I guess I shouldn't be surprised considering they cost me $8 back in high school, but now that I'm able, I think it's time for me to upgrade my eyewear. I've been persuing the usual outlets (RayBan, Oakleys..), as well as some others that I've shared below! Now just comes the hard part of actually choosing a pair, hm.....

Currently Craving: Colorful Stripes

There was a major breakthrough today, I don't know if you noticed it, it was a very small shift. But today, as I got out of the car to go to work, there it was. The first, very faint, smell of Spring in the air. YES! While I accept the fact that it will most likely still be a few weeks until there's actually nice weather once more, that sniff of Spring is all I need to keep me hopeful :) With that being said, I now have bright colors on the brain and I'm scheming how to give my Winter wears a Spring make-over. Stripes are already a staple for me, so I figured this was the best place to start! Check out the items I'm currently craving below...

White Wall, Green Thumb

I'm starting to notice a running theme in the spaces that catch my eye while reading blogs or browsing Pinterest, and that theme is white walls. Don't get me wrong, I love color, which I is why I think I 'm so drawn to a white wall. They are like a blank canvas that allow the decorations to take center stage and gives you the freedom to go as crazy with color as you want in terms of furniture and textiles. Finish the room with some green plants (live or fake) and the room automatically feels lighter and airier.
Check out the photos below for some inspiration on how to use greenery to open up your space!

Currently Craving: Spanish Influence

I came across this editorial from L'Officiel Paris featuring the gorgeous Lana Del Ray and it has me yearning for a bit of Spanish adventure. The shoot features vibrant colors, spectacular gowns from the likes of Saint Laurent, Gucci, and Valentino, and even a smile from the typically brooding Del Ray. Plus, how enviable are her lush curls? Swoon

Pinterest Sunday: Gallery Walls

While I'm away on vacation, I've scheduled some posts to
publish automatically. See you all soon!

Lately I've been seeing gallery walls popping up all around the internet and I really hope this eclectic trend is here to stay. I love how customizable a gallery wall can be depending on how you style it and what mediums you include. I've compiled some of my favorites below, I hope you enjoy them as well!

Currently Craving: Floral

Even though the ground is still stubbornly hard, flowers have been popping up all over stores int the past few weeks. Florals are nothing new for Spring collections, but that doesn't stop me from being happy to see them! I'm currently craving florals found in unexpected places, like these funky pants from TopShop.

I probably have to wait a few more weeks before anything blooms in my own garden, but I think any of these pieces would be enough to hold me over!

Casual Friday

Blazer - H&M // Top - Marshalls // Jeans - Michael Kors // Flats - DSW

I decided to celebrate the beginning of March with a pop of color, a pop of coral to be exact. I used to avoid coral because I was afraid it would clash with my red hair/fair skin, but I've come to learn that this isn't the case at all! I love this top because it's light enough to go well under a blazer without being see-through (and for $15 at Marshalls, it was a steal!). I would have liked to pair this outfit with my coral wedges, but as the temperature this morning reminded me, just because I'm in Spring mode doesn't mean Mother Nature is on board yet. Le sigh.

P.S. Please excuse the photo quality, I told you I need to upgrade my camera! :)
